What Inspires You?

Movies are full of inspirational speeches. You can watch a few examples in the clip below.

What inspires you? What motivates you to do your best? Can words and speeches inspire you, or does it take something more to be truly motivated?

Post your responses in the comments section.

I think words and speeches can be very inspiring. You hear someones speech and think, "i wanna do that. i wanna do something and take advantage of this short life i have." So yes, i think speeches and things can be very inspiring.

Leah... I so agree with you. Speakers can be SO inspirational. I love when other students read any of their stories in the class.

@ nicole-honestly, i dont like reading in front of others (my work, anyways) but sometimes, people will comment and say "that was really deep," or "made me think differently," and i feel like i actually reached that person. so not just me, to others, speakers and speeches can be really inpiring

Leah...... Why do you not like reading you stuff in front of the class. Your stories and poems are so good. So are Lauryn's. (:

I honestly think you can inspire yourself through just going the the hectic craziness that is life. In a way learning from your mistakes ,but be careful because some mistakes are fatal.

Inspiration is all around you, not just in speeches.
